About the speaker:
Rob joined GBQ in 2014 after graduating from Ohio Northern University and earning his CPA the following year. He works extensively with closely held companies, high-net-worth families, and their related entities, assisting with tax compliance, estate planning, and trust taxation. Rob also advises venture capital and private equity fund sponsors on structuring investments and exits, often consulting with portfolio companies on complex tax matters.
Earlier in his career, Rob served as a Financial Analyst in GBQ’s Forensic & Dispute Advisory Services department, providing litigation consulting in areas such as fraud and business valuation. He also supported a $2 billion private equity firm with tax compliance and investor relations.
Active in the community, Rob serves on the James F. Dicke College of Business Advisory Board at ONU, participates in the OSCPA and AICPA, and is a member of the Columbus Emerging Leaders Board for Make-A-Wish. Passionate about education, he has taught accounting at Capital University and is a two-time recipient of GBQ’s Ron Quillin Learning Award for his dedication to learning and mentoring.

Free parking is available on the paved lot outside of the Fawcett center and a parking pass is required.

Continuing Education:
FPA Central Ohio will apply for 1 hour of CFP credit. Please arrive on time to ensure that you can sign in for CE credits.
This session is not approved for Ohio Insurance continuing education (CE) credit.

*First Time Guests - No charge (one-time registration only). If you have previously registered for an FPA Central Ohio meeting, the non-member fee of $55 will apply.
**Student Non-Members - Students may attend up to 2 programs at no charge. After that, the cost is $30 per meeting. If this is your first or second visit, please contact admin@fpacentralohio.org to complete your complimentary registration, and your charge will be removed. Payments are non-refundable. A valid student ID is required at check-in.
Registration and Cancellation
Please register by 12:00 PM on February 9th, 2026, as availability cannot be guaranteed after this deadline. Cancellations will be accepted until 12:00 PM on November 11th, 2025; after that, no refunds or credits will be issued.
