Client Services Associate/Paraplanner

Keidan Financial Consultants is a small, independent financial planning office in Columbus, Ohio. We are hard-working, motivated and value integrity and respect and adhere to high ethics for our firm and employees. We are looking for an amiable, career-oriented individual who is passionate about helping our clients achieve their goals. We currently have an opening for a Client Services Associate who will also incorporate skills into an Associate Financial Advisor role. This individual will be an integral part of a team who brings excitement for helping clients by providing exceptional financial planning services. The position will have direct contact working with clients to build strong relationships and by resolving any issues between the client and the custodian. The ideal candidate thrives in what can be a fast-paced environment and takes pride in seeing their responsibilities completed in a timely manner through outstanding follow through.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Resolve client requests and questions • Process client checks and securities • Process applications and establish new accounts along with other various account service functions • Create reports using Morningstar and proprietary applications • Prepare and follow-up on all client meetings by following established processes to document and maintain records • Help clients access various portals to view accounts and eSign documents which may entail troubleshooting problems • Develop financial planning skills to assist with client investment planning and wealth management services • Master CRM functions to include maintaining calendar for office and scheduling review appointments.

A successful candidate for this position should have the following skills: • Related investment industry experience • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred • Strong administrative/project management skills • Commitment to high quality client support • Exceptional organization and analytical skills • Must be accurate and detail oriented • Ability to multi-task and prioritize and stay calm in fast-paced environment • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work independently • Works well in a small team environment • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills • Discretion when dealing with confidential matters • Must be technologically savvy and be able to assist clients in resolving technical issues • Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel.
