Planning for extended care is an important piece of every financial and family plan, but how do we create this plan? Kelly will educate on the importance of planning for extended care, how to create an extended care plan, and the available LTC insurance options that are available today.

Kelly is the Co-founder of Steadfast Insurance. They’re an independent insurance agency in Westerville, OH. Kelly is a Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance Specialist and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA®) working nationwide to help clients and financial planners plan for extended care. Her goal is to help clients create a plan for care to live well and reduce the physical, mental, emotional, and financial consequences of an LTC situation. She’s able to do this by having “planning for care conversations” and through LTC insurance. Kelly is passionate about planning for care because life is unexpected and she’s personally experienced multiple situations in her family where loved ones needed care and no one had a plan or insurance. She loves helping families and businesses put meaningful protection in place to protect the people and possessions most important to them.

In 2022, Kelly was named “HOT 100 insurance professionals” by Insurance Business America and “Top 10 Women of Distinction in Insurance” by Success Pitchers. She’s an instructor for the CLTC® training program where she teaches advisors how to talk to their clients about LTC. Kelly is the creator and host of “Steadfast Care Planning” podcast. She’s also on the board of the Central Ohio Care Planning Council and FPA of Central Ohio.

Outside of work, Kelly is married with 2 active kids and a big doodle named Eddie. She enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, renovating their historic home, participating in church and community activities, and being outdoors.
