Cazilia Loibl

 

Cäzilia Loibl, PhD, CFP® is a Professor of Consumer Sciences at The Ohio State University. Dr. Loibl currently serves as Chair of the Consumer Sciences program and Program Director of the CFP® Program at Ohio State. She also leads the statewide HUD-approved housing counseling program for OSU Extension. She is a faculty affiliate with the University of Wisconsin RDRC, the German Institute for Economic Research, and the Centre for Decision Research at Leeds University Business School in the U.K. She teaches in the financial planning track at Ohio State. Her research aims to better understand how individuals and families make financial decisions, how behavioral biases can affect the quality of financial decisions, and to design interventions that are effective in facilitating financial decision-making.

 

Drew Hanks

 

 

Drew Hanks, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Consumer Sciences at The Ohio State University. Dr. Hanks received his degree in Economics and has conducted a variety of studies focused on the intersection between psychology and economics, also known as behavioral economics. His work in this area illustrates how individuals are prone to behavioral biases that influence health and financial behaviors. He also conducts work in health and labor economics. Dr. Hanks teaches fundamentals of and advanced consumer analytics courses, consumer decision making courses, as well as fundamentals of financial planning.

 

Eric Olsen Headshot

 

Eric Olsen, CFP® is a PhD Candidate at The Ohio State University with a research focus on how real estate ownership fits into the personal balance sheet, military populations, life insurance, and behavioral finance. Eric Olsen is also the founder of Olsen Family Financial, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisory firm and an active-duty Air Force Officer. His prior Air Force experience includes teaching finance and accounting courses at the United States Air Force Academy and worked in program management on IT information systems, flight testing, and stealth radar testing.
