We are located just north of I-270 on Sawmill Road.
This paid internship position is part time while in school with flexible hours. The position will be full time during summer.
Description:
We are a Holistic Financial Planning Firm who works with a select group of families to act as their personal CFO. We have a process driven approach that takes the people we serve from participating in setting their goals, to implementing a financial plan, to our annual 3 meeting process allowing them to focus their energy living the lives they desire. Our process gives those families we hire the greatest possibility of accomplishing their desired lifestyle.
This PAID internship position will work closely with the Founder who is a CFP® and will support numerous aspects of our financial planning process. If you are passionate about Financial Planning and adding value to the lives of the people you serve, we offer an excellent environment for learning and participating in adding tremendous value to people’s lives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering financial information
- Create financial statements – personal income statements, balance sheets, inventories of assets
Coordinate with third parties to acquire analysis on current financial tools - Assist in building goal based financial plans utilizing existing tools. These will including but not limited to:
-Debt reduction
-Education planning
-Income planning
-Tax planning
-Investment planning
-Risk Planning
-Wealth transfer
-Help prepare tools for use in client presentations
-Assist with analyzing and creating plans to solve client issues
Qualifications:
-Pursuing BS/BA and CFP® Certification
-Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher
-Prefer junior or senior, but will consider other class levels
-Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft office suite with strength in Excel
-Excellent oral, written, and communication / presentation skills
