Client Service Representative

JOB SUMMARY: The Client Service Representative (CSR) will become familiar with all client service duties which include, but are not limited to, those listed below. Ultimately, the CSR will continue to grow in this role with a specific career path in mind (operations or advisory services), depending on experience and interest. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Serve as a member of the Service Excellence Team (SET). 2) Provide High Touch Service for new and existing clients. a) Manage new client onboarding. b) Prepare and complete new account opening and transfers. c) Take ownership of and provide solutions for complex client situations. d) Communicate in a manner that ensures clients have a terrific TJG experience with every interaction. 3) Utilize the Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Advisor Reporting software, Tamarac, to manage, document, and research tasks. 4) Process daily and as-needed tasks. a) Monitor, research, and process all daily alerts from primary custodian, Charles Schwab. b) Ensure efficient execution of client requests with a friendly and personal touch, such as but not limited to:  Cash requests/distributions.  Account updates (e.g., transfers, beneficiaries, account links, etc.). 5) Seek to make processes better and scalable. 6) Spearhead technology initiatives within TJG. 7) Follow compliance procedures and document, as applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS This position typically requires the following qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree  Experience that demonstrates people and teamwork skills  Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.  Excellent communication, listening, and relationship building skills  Strong project management skills – organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and prioritize  A passion for caring for clients  A team player in The Joseph Group’s “Best Places to Work” culture  Desire and ability to work successfully in a small company environment  Proactive, self-motivated personality  Experience with investment and/or client service platform(s) is a plus
